About the area
Tenjinbashisuji is a covered shopping street running north from the Osaka Tenmangu shrine, about 2.6 km long and lined with old delis, sweet shops and standing bars. This route grazes along it the way locals do: croquettes, issen-yaki pancakes, taiyaki, dango and kushikatsu skewers, then small plates in the lantern-lit bars of Ura-Tenma.

Where we know a dish contains pork, beef or alcohol we say so, but that is not conclusive — check directly with each vendor. You take part at your own risk.
If you have a severe or life-threatening allergy, we recommend you don't take part.
